Being Eco-Minded means taking steps towards being better to our planet.
Being Eco-Minded by minimizing your carbon footprint by recycling more, cutting out plastic, using eco-friendly products, and reducing water use.
Being Eco-Minded is working together to minimize our reliance on plastics and using more biodegradable materials.
We want to encourage small changes that everyone feels they can make. Hoping for a new healthy habit which will in turn benefit our future generations and the world around them.
We want to offer a variety of options for our customers who want to add more eco-friendly items to their lifestyle in order to minimize their carbon footprint.
We want to be a resource within our community to help foster this movement of progress and change.
Perfection is not our goal- sustainable, positive change moving forward is.

In 2018, over 82 million tons of corrugated boxes were generated in the United States alone.
Only half of those boxes were recycled properly. In addition, 12 million barrels of oil are used to create 380 billion plastic bags and wraps every year.
Our goal is to make shipping more sustainable by utilizing used boxes and biodegradable packaging tape.

Handmade Natural Beauty is committed to recycling. We recycle all packaging materials (peanuts, bubble wrap, paper and air bags) sent to us by ingredient & packaging suppliers. When it is necessary to purchase packing peanuts, we only purchase the biodegradable variety.
Did you know that most "soap" purchased in the store, is not really soap? Many of the commercial soaps available today are, actually, bars of detergent. These are made with synthetic ingredients, rather than natural ingredients. A true homemade soap retains all the natural glycerin which is produced when fats (natural oils) and sodium hydroxide (lye) are mixed together in precise ratios and temperatures. Glycerin is a natural moisturizer and cleanser that increases lather and produces a milder soap for the skin. In a lot of commercial soaps, the valuable glycerin is extracted and sold. It is replaced with cheaper synthetic alternatives which can be a lot harsher and irritating to the skin.
One day after taking out my kitchen trash, it struck me that a drawstring poop bag might be the solution. Sometimes, the answer is right in front of you. I experimented cutting a drawstring kitchen bag into smaller bags and afterwards using a food saver machine to seal the edges - and - Eureka! The Poop ’N Tie bag was born.
Yes, Poop 'N Tie Bags are biodegradable.
I am a mom who is committed to providing eco-friendly, multi-purpose, reusable storage bags that are fun for children and adults of all ages. Our products help the environment with a goal of reducing single-use plastics and other one-time use products within the home.
I am very passionate about what we do at Ziparoos and love educating people about reducing the use of plastics. I am committed to offering quality products at affordable prices and outstanding customer service that is the basis of Ziparoos. I truly believe helping the environment starts with small changes!
Zero Waste MVMT was founded in early 2019 by Zac and Janelle. The idea to contribute to and promote this eco-friendly movement came to fruition after travelling abroad for almost a year. Their entire perspective on waste management and pollution changed after experiencing the detrimental effects on the environment first-hand. In less developed countries, they saw exactly what was happening to waste, it often contaminated beaches, gathered in “landfills” and even burned on the side of the road since there isn’t much in place for waste management facilities. This is something that is often overlooked in western countries. Garbage is brought to the street side; it is taken away and that is the end of it. Out of sight, out of mind. But the reality of it is, all this waste IS going somewhere, it’s collecting in landfills, contaminating waterways, ending up in our oceans and much more.
This is what sparked the idea for Zero Waste MVMT. We decided we HAD to do something positive to raise awareness and contribute to the movement. Our mission is to inspire people around us and encourage them to live a more sustainable lifestyle. We want to help by collectively reducing waste and making sustainable products accessible to everyone. Together, we can help our precious Mother Earth thrive for generations to come!
On top of promoting a low waste lifestyle, we are also helping to plant trees in areas of need to reverse the detrimental effects of deforestation. We plant a tree with each and every purchase :)
We stay true to our name by always shipping in zero-waste packaging. Our labels are printed on 100% recycled paper, we seal our packages with paper tape, and we use post-consumer materials as often as possible!
Since 1990, Café Mam (say 'mom') has been committed to sourcing only Fair Trade, organic and shade-grown coffee from indigenous cooperatives. Café Mam coffee is grown by native Maya farmers living in the highlands of Chiapas, Mexico. The growers, primarily of the Mam, Tzetzal and Mochó peoples, are organized according to egalitarian democratic ideals that emphasize hard work, responsibility to the cooperative, and high standards. The cooperatives' programs provide countless benefits to outlying native communities.
The farmers believe that by taking care of the soil, they are taking care of the entire biosystem. Their beliefs and sustainable approaches to agriculture benefit their communities in many positive ways. Café Mam farmers seek to conserve and rebuild the natural environment and work toward a higher quality of life for their families.
Our eco-friendly product lines include TotLogic, BarkLogic and LiceLogic and are available nationwide. We guarantee our products are safe and effective so you can focus on what’s really important, your family.
Today, my idea is a promise: To keep our products pure, simple, and authentic.
As a mom of two now, I am on a mission to spread the benefits of using non-toxic products that make sense. Please join me on this journey to bring the logic back into the products we use on our children, in our homes, and on our pets.
Our products come from the earth and return to the earth with as little impact as possible. That means using packaging that is either fully compostable or recyclable and made from plant fibers rather than synthetic chemicals. It’s also another reason we use pure, food-grade ingredients rather than synthetic chemicals, so that we don’t contribute to the rampant bioaccumulation of synthetics in the soil, waterways, coral reefs, and more.
Inspired by a love of natural products, our founder Jack began creating his own natural soap in his garage. He also knew there must be other guys out there who wanted better products with natural ingredients and manly scents. With that, Dr. Squatch was born! Millions of happy customers later, the Dr. Squatch mission remains the same - to raise the bar for natural products and change the way men approach their personal care.
Minimizing waste and helping the environment should be fun.
We’ve all felt the fulfilment that comes with making a positive change.
It might be choosing to re-use something, instead of throwing it away.
Or focusing more on recycling.
Or it might be deciding to purchase biodegradable products that reduce unnecessary waste.
Whatever decisions you make, they should not only help the environment - but enrich your home and your heart.
We decided to create Zero Waste Cartel because we got greedy. We wanted more of that sense of fulfilment. More of that positive change. So we made it our mission to share knowledge and provide product options that help you cut down waste, enrich your home and provide you with that feeling of fulfilment.
Nobody is perfect, and it’s very difficult to live a completely Zero Waste lifestyle. But if we strive to come as close as possible, together we can make a difference.
The YAYA story began in 2014 when Alex and Rebecca (mother and daughter) couldn't ignore the tick problem in their own backyards. The ticks were getting worse each year, and they were determined to find an effective all-natural solution that would protect them and their family. Rebecca's son David who was about 1 year old at the time and was curious to crawl and explore all over the lawn and gardens. Concerned about the serious health risks that go hand-in-hand with tick bites, Alex and Rebecca were recommended to use DEET or permethrin according to experts and the CDC. They were disappointed that there was nothing natural and proven effective on the market that specifically targeted ticks, so Alex and Rebecca set out to make the ultimate all-natural tick repellent. After obsessively researching various essential oils and plant-based oils that repel ticks, they began developing and testing until they came up with a complete homerun formula. This extra potent formula boasted a high % of bio-actives, a refreshing herbal scent, and an ingredients panel that they could trust including cedarwood, peppermint, geranium, rosemary and more... TICK BAN was born.
Alex and Rebecca knew that this niche product met a very real need, so they decided to launch TICK BAN locally, sharing it with naturopathic doctors, chiropractors, natural food stores, small grocers and retailers. The response was electric, and YAYA quickly blossomed as a company, welcoming their third partner Valeria to the YAYA family, expanding their product line to include SQUITO BAN and BABY BUG BAN, and rolling out nation-wide. The three women of YAYA are a fun, dynamic and energized team who share the same passion for all-natural ingredients, and a deeply rooted commitment to the health and well-being of their families, as well as the environment.
Our grass-roots story is just the beginning. The pure, eco-friendly, and back-to-nature ethos of YAYA Organics is woven into every aspect of our business as we grow, from product development, to sourcing raw materials, choosing eco-friendly packaging and more. We believe that ingredients matter, and that nature always provides the best options with a wide range of amazing and therapeutic benefits on many levels.
Today Alex, Rebecca and Valeria are proud to be a 100% women-owned company that offers a premium all-natural and non-toxic bug repellent line that is truly effective, enjoyable to use, made with authentic ingredients and environmentally-friendly. Go natural! Go YAYA!
First of all, it's funny. Lots of room for toilet jokes, which we love.
But really, we love toilet paper because for us, it's our way of making a difference. We started Who Gives A Crap when we learnt that 2.4 billion people don't have access to a toilet (now 2 billion – yay for progress!). That's roughly 40% of the global population and means that around 289,000 children under five die every year from diarrheal diseases caused by poor water and sanitation. That's almost 800 children per day, or one child every two minutes.
We thought that was pretty crap. So, in July 2012, Simon, Jehan and Danny launched Who Gives A Crap with a crowdfunding campaign on IndieGoGo. Simon sat on a toilet in our draughty warehouse and refused to move until we had raised enough pre-orders to start production. 50 hours and one cold bottom later, we'd raised over $50,000.
We delivered our first product in March 2013 and have been thrilled to keep growing ever since. Not just because our toilet paper is gracing bathrooms across the country but also because we donate 50% of our profits to help build toilets and improve sanitation in the developing world.
Though we're still growing, and now make more than just toilet paper, we always want to stay true to our roots: toilet humor and making the world a better place.

The Earthling Co. was created in response to our world’s wasteful habits. We realized the products we use consistently in our routines are wasteful, harmful, and sometimes, inefficient. We wanted to influence more conscious creation and consumption of everyday products and shift our daily routines for good.
In addition to changing the consumer product landscape, we give back to the planet that gives so much to us. We donate a portion of every sale to a variety of environmental organizations that work on well-rounded ways to create the harmonious and sustainable future we envision.
Bokashi can be thought of as a dry version of EM-1®. Although it has fewer microbes per ml, it does contain billions of microbes that can be used for a variety of applications. Here are a few of the most common uses: Recycling food waste, amending the soil, cleaning waterways and ponds, soaking up spills, using in place of kitty litter, using in place of fertilizers.
We believe in living in harmony with the environment and all the creatures that depend on the environment—including the other 7 billion people who live on this planet. For us, that means supporting sustainability in several different ways.
Living in Colorado, we’ve been passionate about hemp oil for decades. We’re constantly researching and innovating to improve every step of our process. We grow our own proprietary hemp plants to retain the highest levels of purity and potency. We put the time and energy in because if you are going to put something into your body, it should be the best.
After hearing so many CBD companies preach about how great their products are only to find out the majority of them use harsh CO2 extractions processes to isolate the CBD as well as unknown sources for their hemp, we knew there had to be a better way. And there is— Synchronicity.
Our promise to you is that we will only produce the best possible products. If it does not meet our high standards, we won’t sell it. From plant to body, you know Synchronicity is the most certified Full-Spectrum Hemp Oil you can buy. We use sustainable farming practices for all of our plants and oversee the gentle hand-pressing and coconut oil fusion of our products. We work with third-party testing facilities to ensure that everything we create is safe and reliable.
The truth is, we are never done. We push ourselves to improve our product because we recognize the positive impact that it has on people’s lives.

We founded Sand Cloud on the sunny beaches of San Diego, inspired by the ocean around us. At the time, we were just three friends with a dream to reinvent an age-old product: the beach towel. We committed ourselves to using sustainable materials and donating a portion of all sales to marine conservation charities as a way to protect the beaches we love. When you purchase a beach towel from Sand Cloud, you not only get a sand-resistant, ultra-absorbent Turkish cotton towel, but also help us in our mission as a portion of every sale goes to a worthwhile environmental charity.
We want our species to live comfortably on this planet for as long as possible, for future generations to inherit a world that is habitable.
As consumers we constantly make small decisions that add up and impact the environment. Every item you buy affects the health of our ecosystem, the consumption of natural resources, labor, and the standards regarding how companies make and distribute products.
Coffee is the seed of a fruit that grows on a tree in equatorial highlands around the globe. It is planted, picked, processed, and transported to us by innumerable hands. Since 1996, we’ve been firmly rooted in the business of responsible and sustainable partnerships with each link in the journey that these beautiful coffees take. We purchase only organic, fair-trade coffees from small-scale grower cooperatives that invest in their farmers to combat unstable markets and shifting climates. It’s not the only way to buy coffee, but we think it’s the optimal way for long-term success on both sides.
We may be Outlaws, but we are dedicated to some hardcore values. We believe that outstanding products are only as good as the foundation they're built on.
Here's what we're about:

I personally struggled and suffered with eczema and psoriasis most of my life. I tried everything to relieve my symptoms - including products recommended by dermatologists. When my daughter was born, she too, had eczema. I knew there had to be a solution, there had to be a better way. Nothing we tried worked, or at least worked for any period of time I began a diligent search for products that would relieve our symptoms. Having been a nurse, I understood the effects harsh commercial chemicals can have on the body. Reading labels of products and researching common ingredients in cosmetic and beauty products was a real eye opener. I learned about propylene glycol, parabens, hardening agents, sulfates, and much more. I began using natural and organic products on myself and my daughter. Before long, we were seeing amazing results. The combination of these ingredients made a tremendous difference in our skin. Eventually we were both free of our skin issues.
We started manufacturing toothpaste because we were frustrated with the lack of high quality, plastic-free toothpaste available to the public.
In 2012, Nelson Naturals launched with the mission of creating the best ecofriendly toothpaste formulas on the Planet.
We chose reusable glass jars for the packaging of our products, to contribute to a plastic-free World.
In 2009 I founded Mountain Girl Soap to honor the joy of mountain life and to support others on their journey to better skin with clean, all-natural soap and skin care. I'm an active member of the Handcrafted Soap and Cosmetic Guild (HSCG) where I earned a certificate in Master Soap Making. I hold certificates in Aromatherapy and Botanical Body Care Product Formulation, and I am also a member of the California Native Plant Society. My passion for native plants has led me down an exciting new path of alchemy, distilling my own essential oils and hydrosols. With the expansion in this area, a new name seemed appropriate, and I changed the business name to Mountain Girl Essentials.
Fast forward to today and I'm blending luxurious oils with aromatic plant extracts to make fabulous all-natural products for healthy and vibrant skin. If you want to energize yourself and experience glowing skin made possible with the power of plants and give back to the Earth by planting one tree for every order.
As big travelers ourselves, we wanted to create something that was convenient enough to bring everywhere and begin to eliminate single-use plastic in our daily lives. We LOVE working craft fairs, markets, and events to get the opportunity to talk face to face with people about the importance of making simple swaps every day to reduce our impact on the environment. It affects us all.
We are not experts at plastic-free & sustainable living and face the same challenges that everyone else does, but we are SO incredibly passionate about our Mother Earth, sustainability, and educating those around us. We test out all of our products before we sell them to make sure we only bring the very best quality, so they last. We donate to ocean conservation and other environmental organizations too!

Throughout life Joshua had searched supermarket shelves and boutique counters in pursuit of the perfect lip balm. Each tube and jar left one disappointment after another. Finally, he decided to do something about it. In the winter of 2016 Joshua began an obsession with learning what others were putting in their balms and the purpose of each ingredient. Knowing this tube not only served as a reminder to be kind, but also that the balm needed to be kind for lips, Joshua began mixing the 100% natural and organic ingredients on his stove over the next few months on Friday and Saturday evenings. Believing less is more, he set out to chef a balm with the highest quality ingredients that would continually leave lips nourished and protected.
“If you do this lip balm thing, I think you are supposed to call it Kind Lips, and it will be a reminder for people to speak kind words when they use it.” From the first day Joshua began this journey, he knew Kind Lips would serve a higher purpose than just hydrating lips. It is Joshua’s belief that Kind Lips and its message will inspire kindness all over the world one set of lips at time.

b.a.r.e. soaps is an all-natural, socially conscious company. It is a passion project which means that none of us at b.a.r.e. soaps receive a salary for what we do. We volunteer our time with the goal of creating a sustainable means (selling really good soap!) to fund economic development initiatives that we believe in. In fact, all of us have full-time jobs to support ourselves. Therefore, profits are either reinvested back into the business (inventory, marketing, etc.) or into our non-profit causes.
We believe in the power of small changes to create a better world. Every time we replace a plastic spoon with a natural alternative, we don’t just make a safer and healthier choice, both for you and the plant. We start to shift to a new way of thinking. By introducing renewable materials into daily life, sustainability becomes part of the conversation. And what better place to start making change than in the kitchen, where we join together to share, enjoy, and refuel. Small changes add up, and we’re proud to be part of your eco-friendly journey.
Our story begins as a true labor of love for Co-founders Art & Lindsey. For over a decade, Art has witnessed first-hand the destruction of our coral reefs due to over harvesting, over exporting and fluctuations in water conditions.
Lying at the heart of it all, is the Tropical Island of Bali. It's here they met Ketut and Wayan in a remote, carving village. Together they built a team of local carvers in order to create Bali Necklaces from repurposed, water-buffalo bone. A percentage of the proceeds is then redirected back to coral reef restoration in this area and ultimately create a better life, not only for the animals of the coral reefs, but for the culture of people that live on these islands.
Alpine Provisions’ products are created with the world’s finest, sustainably sourced ingredients, and are scented with the finest saps, oils, and flowers the mountains have to offer. They are designed to elicit your own, joyful connection to nature, even if the jungle you’re navigating that day happens to be made of concrete. The world becomes a better place the moment we choose to make it so.
JusTea’s mission is to create sustainable employment for small-scale Kenyan farmers. We don’t offer 100 different teas like Matcha, Ceylon, or Darjeeling, because these teas simply don’t grow in Kenya. All of the teas we offer contain 100% Kenyan ingredients (or as many ingredients as we can get from Kenya) so you can trace the impact back to the farmer.
JusTea is the first North American partner for this cooperative's organic herbal teas. Over 80% of the employees are women and they support hundreds of farmers in their community!
We believe that life is a grand adventure.
We believe that the people we meet, the things we consume, and the places we love all have the potential to change us. We believe in building relationships, in coloring outside the lines, and in chasing authenticity until we’re blistered and blissful. We believe in taking care of this awesome planet so that our children’s children have a place to wander and play. We believe that there is a little bit of wildness within each of us and that therein lies our true calling.
We believe that coffee is our calling.
We believe that great coffee is the lifeblood of flourishing communities locally and globally. We believe that this tiny little bean has enormous potential to transform lives. We believe that we each have a desire to choose wisely and live consciously. We believe that life is too short not to be shared.
